are a nature and sports lover, or you want to experience the nightlife and the beaches
of the island, Rhodes won’t let you down!

Rhodes Old Medieval Town

Visit the oldest inhabited medieval town in Europe! Part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage, this picturesque town consists of 200 streets or alleys and is inhabited by about 6000 people who live and work in the town. You will find Byzantine and Gothic churches, medieval buildings, shops, cafes, and restaurants, the Palace of the Grand Master, and the Archeological Museum.

Rhodes has over 39 beaches awarded with blue flags, all of them wonderful with crystal clear waters! You should not miss out on Faliraki beach, a beach with cafés and restaurants and Lindos beach with the picturesque view of Lindos village and the Acropolis of Lindos. Tsambika beach under the Tsambika mountain and St. Paul’s beach with the little chapel and the rocky surroundings are worth a visit.

Local Gastronomy

The gastronomy and the local cuisine of Rhodes will impress you in the best possible way. On the island you can find many restaurants, taverns, and cafés where you can taste traditional dishes. We recommend pitaroudia, fish with trahana (traditional pasta), beans with garlic, melekouni (traditiona pastry with honey) and giaprakia (minced meat wrapped up in wine leaves).

Sports & Activities

If you want to have a vacation full of activities, then Rhodes won’t let you down. Yachting and boat excursions are always a good idea, while the island offers great paths for cycling, hiking, and trekking. If you love water sports you will find many sports centers for water ski, windsurfing, and even scuba diving!

There are numerous shallow and sandy beaches with all sorts of watersports, such as water ski, Jet Ski, banana boats, kite surf and kayaking. You can also go sailing or do day cruises.
